History and Operation

IUSFUL EUROPEAN LEGAL NETWORK was founded in Budapest on 3 October 2003 by medium size law firms from Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, England, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, based on the initiation and partner selection of the Belgian and Hungarian firms.

IUSFUL EUROPEAN LEGAL NETWORK is an open network, which means that in case a certain law firm, which is recommended by any member – based on its working experience – would like to join the network, the members consider such candidate and make a decision by a dynamic procedure.

IUSFUL EUROPEAN LEGAL NETWORK approved joining of new Spanish law firm in October 2011 and decided to identify potential candidate law firm in Germany and in Rumania during 2011-2012.

IUSFUL EUROPEAN LEGAL NETWORK hold members’ meeting once or twice a year. For practical reasons a General Secretary – at present dr. Attila Lengyel (dr. Attila Lengyel Law Firm, Budapest) – co-ordinates the operational work of IUSFUL EUROPEAN LEGAL NETWORK between the member’s meetings.
